Was bizarre UFO sighting visiting aliens, a terrifying vision of Hell - or merely a meteorite?
A BIZARRE UFO spotted in the skies over Boston has been described as a terrifying vision.
Neil-Michael Brown, 34, of Nottinghamshire, was visiting the town after staying with a friend in Old Leake when he saw ‘carriage-shaped vessels in the sky’.
Speaking to The Standard he said: “I don’t believe in aliens, and I wasn’t on drugs but what I saw was certainly out of this world. Even when I think about it now, it disturbs me.”
Describing what he said, he said: “I was walking along by the garage near Matalan at about 11.30pm on Friday night and something caught my eye in the sky, going from right to left.
“At first I thought it was one of those Japanese lanterns but then I saw something else materialise.
“The clouds came away from it and revealed what I can only describe as a train carriage with fire coming off it.”
Mr Brown said it was heading towards the direction of the 700-year-old Stump church – and moving so fast it almost looked like a fireball.

Big Foot spotted in Wisconsin?
The sheriff from a small Wisconsin county was investigating a possible Sasquatch (Big Foot) sighting earlier this month. A scared constituent called the report in, saying they saw a dark creature with fur all over standing along the ditch.
Sheriff John Spears told the local press that the report came in from one person. “The person who called it in was driving down the road, and they saw what they described as a dark-haired… Sasquatch,” Spears told the LaCrosseTribune.com. “It looked like it was hiding in the ditch line. When they went by, it jumped.”
Spears ordered his deputy to check out the incident but he found nothing. The witness claimed, it was a “large figure, dark in color, black-brown in color, with no clothes and it looked like it was just fur,” Spears said.
The person added, “There’s no way it could have been a wolf,” Spears said.
The report was one of 22 suspicious activity reports in the area including some peacock problems, he said. The department only confirmed two sightings of peacocks in Christiana.
Vernon County is in southwestern Wisconsin in the Kickapoo Valley, which has over the decades been known for being a haven of old hippies, off-the-grid folks and organic fruit and vegetable growers, especially wild mushrooms.

Three Yeti Sightings Reported In Siberia Ahead Of 'Abominable Snowman' Expedition (PICTURES)
Three separate Yeti "sightings" have been reported in the Siberian region of Kemerovo.
The sightings come as Russia prepares to host a conference and subsequent expedition to find the elusive creature, which is also known variously as Bigfoot, Sasquatch, the Abominable Snowman and the Siberian Snowman.
The beast was apparently spotted the Shorsky National Park, with Trud newspaper quoting government spokesman Sergei Adlyakov as saying: “The creature did not look like a bear and quickly disappeared after breaking some branches of the bushes.”

In August, fisherman Vitaly Vershinin told a local Siberian newspaper he had spotted two bear-like creatures drinking at the water’s edge.
Vershinin said: “When they noticed me, they easily stood straight upright and went away…I did not wish to chase them.”
Vershinin returned to the spot, near Myski village, with a TV crew, explaining he had initially believed the pair to be human.
He said: “We shouted at them, do you need help?
DNA analysis of this hair found on last year's Yeti hunt is still pending “And they just rushed away, all in fur, walking on two legs, making way through the bushes with two other limbs.
“What did we think? It could not be bears, as the bear walks on all-fours, and they ran on two…so then they were gone.”
A further account was reported to officials in the Kuzbass region.
The sighting reported “some tall animals looking like people” on a rock above the Mras-Su River.
The unnamed source added: “Our binoculars were broken and did not let us see them sharply. We waved at the animals but they did not respond, then quickly ran back into the forest, walking on two legs.
“We realised they were not in dark clothes but covered by dark fur. They did walk like people.”

Last year scientists from the US, Russia and other countries met for a similar conference which included a trek to Kemerovo.
Samples of “Yeti hair” were found on the trek, although DNA analysis has not yet been released.

Sasquatch waiting to be discovered in B.C.: biologist
The sasquatch is just waiting to be discovered in B.C., but too few want to admit or investigate it, says a Vancouver Island wildlife biologist and author.
“And we have what has to be the best sasquatch habitat anywhere on the planet right here on the B.C. coast,” said Courtenay’s John Bindernagel, author of the 2010 book The Discovery of the Sasquatch.
“The question for me is no longer ‘Does the sasquatch exist or not?’ but ‘Why has the existence of the sasquatch been resisted for so long?’ ” Bindernagel said.
Now 70, he believes enough sightings, tracks and other evidence of the large ape-like sasquatch — Coast Salish for hairy man — have been collected to provide evidence of the creature’s existence in B.C. and North America.
Bindernagel has collected casts of massive, human-like tracks from Strathcona Provincial Park and even heard a “whoo, whoo, whoop” call. It’s similar to a chimpanzee’s call in Uganda, but he believes it is a sasquatch calling out for its own kind.
Bindernagel comes to the investigation of the sasquatch as a scientist. He studied at the University of Guelph and the University of Wisconsin and holds a PhD in wildlife biology. He has worked in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Central America, teaching, conducting research, surveys and preparing and implementing wildlife management plans and conservation measures before returning to Vancouver Island, where he worked as a consultant.

Deep-sea Baltic UFO hunt turns up mere rocks | Fox News
A feature on the floor of the Baltic Sea that was discovered last summer by Swedish treasure hunters is making headlines once again.
The latest media coverage draws upon an hour-long radio interview with Peter Lindberg, head of the Ocean X Team (which made the "discovery"), in which Lindberg delivers a string of cryptic and titillating statements about the "strange" and "mysterious" seafloor object his team has been exploring for a year.
Lindberg discusses various possibilities for what the object might be: "It has these very strange stair formations, and if it is constructed, it must be constructed tens of thousands of years ago before the Ice Age," he said in the radio interview. (The peak of the most recent Ice Age occurred some 20,000 years ago.)

UFO 'Secrets' To Be Revealed In September, Says National Atomic Testing Museum
In just a few weeks, some kind of UFO-related secrets will be revealed at a Smithsonian Institution affiliated museum.
That's the implied promise in the title of a special lecture coming up at the National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas on Sept. 22.
The secrets haven't yet been revealed, but the players involved certainly present the potential for something intriguing to emerge from this one-night event that's part of the museum's ongoing Area 51 lecture series.

Sasquatch lives – in imaginations
The arrival of Pete Wilson in Billings opens a new branch of an old anthropological discipline: Cryptozoology.
Wilson, a member of Virginia Bigfoot Watch, lost no time when his company transferred him to Montana. His website, Montana Sasquatch Watch, is up and running. Stay tuned for reports of Sasquatch sightings.
As a semi-professional cynic, my best guess is that the Bigfoot’s existence is not improbable. For a variety of reasons, it’s impossible.
With apologies to Noah, a species with a population of fewer than 50 individuals cannot continue to stock a particular patch of woods or mountain range.
If the Sasquatch population totals fewer than half a hundred, then it must have been plentiful sometime in the near past. If someone traveled back a century or so in a time machine, he/she could expect to find a few hundred, or more likely a few thousand, Bigfoots.
Does Sasquatch bury his dead or does it leave bones of the deceased lying around for guys like Wilson to find?
Besides bones, what else does it leave behind? Coprolites? Weighing 900 pounds or so, Bigfoot could no doubt eat a whole aspen copse or a buck mule deer a day. Anything consuming that amount of grub would leave plenty of coprolites behind.

Several so-called sasquatch foot casts |
Meldrum, who teaches anatomy and anthropology at Idaho State University, might be the only college professor in the U.S. researching and publishing work on Bigfoot, or at least the only one putting his name to the subject.
Meldrum brought attention to the subject with his 2006 book, “Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science.” Nearly all of the 13,000 copies of the book have been sold.
The sasquatch limb is a thin branch to venture out on, and in the academic world, some would say it’s more akin to thin ice.
“People say, ‘You are paid by Idaho State and you are doing this?’ ” Meldrum said. “But this is legitimate research. This could be one of the most outstanding questions in natural history and human anthropology that we have today.
“I’ve gone to great lengths to go about it in a very objective, very professional manner in order to cultivate credibility.”
